Permission To Be

Human

A Two-Part, Spiritually Gentle Workshop for Mothers

Motherhood can be beautiful –
and it can also be overwhelming, exhausting, and lonely.

  • You may feel disconnected from yourself.
  • You may notice anger, resentment, or numbness creeping in.
  • You may react in ways that surprise or shame you – and then wonder what’s wrong with you.

There is nothing wrong with you.
You are overwhelmed – and you were never meant to carry everything alone.

Permission to Be Human is a gentle, two-part, pre-recorded workshop designed to help you slow down, understand your inner world, and reconnect with yourself – emotionally, spiritually, and humanly.

This is not about fixing yourself.
It’s about softening, understanding, and returning to yourself with compassion.

This Workshop Is for You If…

  • You feel burnt out, stretched thin, or emotionally disconnected
  • You know you “should” practise self-care but feel blocked or stuck
  • Guilt or self-doubt shapes how you show up as a mother
  • You feel pressure to be patient, grateful, or calm when you’re struggling
  • You want faith-aligned support that honours your humanity, not denies it
  • You long for calm, clarity, and inner permission to tend to yourself
You don’t need more pressure.
You need understanding, compassion, and space.

How This Workshop Works

Permission to Be Human includes two short, focused sessions, created to be realistic for mothers with full lives.

You can watch at your own pace.
Pause when you need.
Return whenever grounding is needed.

Part One

Understanding & Reconnecting

Focus: Awareness, emotional clarity, and self-understanding
⏱ 45 minutes

In Part One, we gently explore the roots of your overwhelm and reactions — without judgement — and reconnect you with your humanity and spiritual foundation.

You’ll explore:

  • Why you feel the way you do
The unseen emotional and spiritual load of motherhood, the messiness of parenting, and the roots of reactions that may surprise or shame you.
  • Seeing your needs with clarity
Emotional, physical, and spiritual needs — and why honouring them is part of your amanah, not a failure or indulgence.
  • Holding grace for yourself
Practising compassion for yourself (and for those who raised you), laying the groundwork for softening and healing.
  • Outcome
Relief from shame, clarity around your overwhelm, and the first steps toward reconnecting with yourself and your faith.
Part Two

Rebalancing & Grounded Action

Focus: Gentle self-care, rhythms, and emotional-spiritual balance
⏱ 45 minutes

Part Two moves from insight into gentle, realistic action — without guilt, pressure, or perfectionism.

You’ll explore:

  • Rebalancing your life
Identifying where energy is draining and how to restore balance without self-betrayal.
  • Realistic self-care
Small, steady beginnings that honour your humanity and the mercy your Creator has placed in your life.
  • Weekly grounding rhythms
Simple, sustainable practices that help you show up present, anchored, and spiritually aligned.
  • Outcome
Doable starting points, a nourishing weekly rhythm, and a sense of calm, clarity, and compassionate self-awareness.

What You’ll Walk Away With

  • Relief from guilt and self-judgement
  • Deeper understanding of your emotional world
  • Permission to tend to yourself without shame
  • Practical, faith-aligned self-care rhythms
  • A calmer nervous system
  • Renewed softness, clarity, and inner steadiness

Shame and self-criticism don’t heal – if they did, you wouldn’t be here.
Self-understanding and self-kindness do.

This workshop doesn’t ask you to become someone else.
It invites you to return to yourself.

A Gentle Invitation

You do not need to earn rest.
You do not need to justify your needs.
You do not need to be more grateful, patient, or resilient to deserve care.

You are human — and that is not a flaw.

If you’re ready to soften the pressure, reconnect with yourself, and move through motherhood with greater compassion and clarity, this workshop is here for you.

Mercy begins with allowing yourself to be human.
